lua-filesystem software package provides luafilesystem library for the Lua language, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lua-filesystem
lua-filesystem is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lua-filesystem package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lua-filesystem *
You will get with lua-filesystem package name, version, architecture and description in a table
